This integrated approach allows you to create customized versions of JTB_MD that adapt in real time. Additionally, the documentation for your version automatically updates to align with your customizations, providing a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
How to customize
In JTB_MD we are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where users can share their customized versions with ease. To support this, we will be introducing a new feature in upcoming updates—a "Create your own version" page. This page will guide you through a step-by-step process to generate and own your customized version of JTB_MD. This feature will enable you to modify your version easily, share it with others, and explore its tailored documentation, enhancing your customization experience.
To enable the "Create your own version", we will require users to create accounts with JTBLabs. This integration will streamline access to our suite of products by eliminating the need for multiple accounts and creating a unified environment. Additionally, it will facilitate the licensing of customized versions according to individual needs. Consequently, the introduction of this page will be delayed until user accounts are implemented to our system.
Until the "Create your own version" feature is fully implemented, you have two options to customize the library to meet your specific needs:
Request a custom version
We offer the option to request a custom version of the library directly from our team. By utilizing the communication channels detailed in the Introduction - Getting started section, you can outline your specific requirements. Our team will then tailor a version of JTB_MD that aligns with your project’s unique needs, ensuring a high level of customization while maintaining compatibility and stability.
Modify the source code
If you prefer a more hands-on approach, you can download and modify the library’s source code yourself from Installation - Getting started. This method allows you to make immediate changes and gain deeper control over the customization process. However, please note that while this approach can yield faster results, it does not include the automatically generated documentation that comes with an officially requested version. As such, any modifications made independently will require manual documentation and maintenance to ensure clarity and consistency across your project.
